Instead of having to open every database one at a time and make changes to the ACL, you can see which users have access to what databases and make any necessary changes, all in one place. With this database you can: see the ALC of every database in the Data directory on that computer. see the Notes and Browser access of any user, whether they are listed in the ACL or not. see which ACL entries are not valid names from your address book. see which groups are used in ACLs add users to multiple ACLs remove users from multiple ACLs replace an ACL entry with another name add new users with the same access as an existing user see if there are duplicate replicas of a database on the same computer (which can cause replication problems) make changes, add and remove users without actually changing the ACLs until you are ready. | |
